Finding My Way

As I take a look at where I am in life and look for the path that I am supposed to follow, I wonder what the LORD has in store for me. Following the amazing gift I received from some of my dearest friends, I realized a new path was placed before me. But, I still needed to find my way. What was I supposed to take pictures of? I had been given the opportunity to take pictures of anything, I just had no idea where to start. One day I began taking pictures of my daughter when we were at the park, and realized how much fun it was, she also had a ton of fun . I started carrying my camera with me everywhere we went; hiking, swimming, camping, or just hanging out. She became my muse and gave me all the inspiration I needed to find my place in the photography world. I began taking pictures of other things that I saw through the lens. I would go out on photo shoots alone and spend the entire day taking pictures of everything. I thought I needed to narrow my field and stick with specific subjects, but then I asked myself, "Why do I have to limit myself and my creative talent? " Well, I don't. I can take pictures of as many different subjects and scenes as I want to. Needless to say, I am always looking for new and exciting moments for photo shoots. Although I still feel as though I am trying to find the right path in life, I believe I have found my way with photography. I hope you enjoy my photos.
